Dear ACPS Staff,

I would like to extend a welcome to you on behalf of the School Nutrition Services program. We have a dedicated staff of men and women that work hard to ensure that students and staff are offered a variety of menu selections that are appealing, meet federal nutrition standards and encourage healthy eating habits that will lead to a lifetime of health benefits.

Any staff member who would like to participate in our meal program may do so by using their account. You can order meals and prepay online directly through SchoolCafe.

At this time, we are not accepting cash payments, however, you can use your credit or debit card to prepay meals online via your SchoolCafe account. All orders MUST BE ordered and prepaid directly online via School Cafe.

Outlined below you will find instructions for creating your School Cafe account if you do not already have one. This will allow you to place money on your account, set perimeters for your account, such as low balance reminders, etc.

In addition, If at any time you leave the district or would like to request a refund on your account, you may do so by going to the SNS web page and selecting the “refund” tab under meals and prepayment tab or directly through School Cafe.

Note: After you sign up in SchoolCafe, you must link your Cafeteria account to your online account, to find your account you must enter your Employee ID #, your School Name, and Last Name. Then Click Find My Cafeteria Account.

How to order a meal

The ACPS nutrition services will utilize an online pre-ordering system via SchoolCafe for adult meals. Staff members can pre-order and pay for meals via SchoolCafe.

Placing orders are restricted by the designated Order Cutoff Time that is configured by the District. The cutoff time for ordering is 9:00 am for same-day service; however, you can place meal orders up to FIVE DAYS in advance.

Please note, staff accounts must have enough balance to cover meal purchases. In the event your account has an insufficient balance, your order will be automatically canceled.

Delivery Method

All meals will be delivered during your school’s lunch delivery window with the exception of TC Williams (see additional notes below).

If you are assigned to a classroom or a room where lunch is being delivered to, you will need to specify that room location. You will need to select ‘Zone’, as the fulfillment option, then select the classroom number that you would like your meal delivered to.
If you are NOT assigned to a classroom or room where lunch is being delivered to (i.e. Main Office staff, SRO’s, etc), you will need to select the option to have your meal delivered to the Main Office or designated pick up location. This location may differ by school, so please speak to the SNS Manager at your particular school. You will need to select the ‘Zone’ option, then click on the ‘Main Office’ option.
Our staff will not deliver meals to locations that are not designated rooms for meal delivery.

NOTE FOR TC WILLIAMS: Pre-ordered meals can be picked up daily between 11:00-11:30 a.m. from the cafeteria. You will need to specify ‘Cafeteria’ as your fulfillment option. Meals can also be delivered to the Main Office for pick up. You will need to select the ‘Zone’ option, then click on the ‘Main Office’ option.
